Questions about my courses? Neuroscience help

I am a behavioral neuroscience major (doing a psych minor as well and pre med) and I am a freshman. For my winter 2014 semester these are the classes I am taking

Bio 1 w/lab (4 credits)

Comp 2 (3 credits)

Abnormal psychology (3) (for my psych minor)

Neuroscience 1 w/lab (4credits)

Human growth and development (life span human development) (3)(for my psych minor)

I have already taken human growth a development in college before so I am not worried about that (long story why they didn't accept the credit, I was a homeschool student and in order to graduate with an official HS diploma I had to do some weird procedure last minute)

Do you think this course load is too much? It is 17 credits but most of the classes are going to be more workload than hard exactly (psych, h&d, and comp 2)....What I am worried about is two labs. Has anyone here taken intro to neuroscience w/lab? This is a fairly new major at my school.

I will be living on campus by the way.

Labs can vary widely in how much work they are, but in my experience, many labs require more work but it’s not necessarily more challenging work. If these are labs generally taken by freshman, I wouldn’t expect them to be especially difficult, but you may need to spend more time writing lab reports and such (and lab reports are generally time consuming, but not very difficult). You never really know until you take the class, though.

And since you’ve already taken human growth and development, it’s really only 14 (new) credits, which is very do-able.
