questions about stern/gallatin

i know there was some kind of really long thread about these two schools, but my internet time is limited so i was wondering if anyone could answer my question/give their opinion?

i wanna go into actuarial science at stern, but i also want to be sure i'll get to take courses/double major in computer science. i'm also really interested in learning japanese and improving my french. is that enough reason to make up my own major in gallatin, or would it be better/possible for me to just apply to stern and take a minor in comp sci and then study abroad in japan or something?

basic general info

asian female
SAT: 2370
GPA: 3.71
rank: 37/545 (14 valedictorians)
mostly honors classes, taking/have taken 5 AP's
good public school in suburban PA

Yeah you should just go into Stern, you have the grades for it, definitely. :)

You can always minor in Japanese or French, maybe in both cause you can double minor at NYU. You can always just take a semester or two of either language. It's not complicated enough to require Gallatin you know?

Besides I think while you can take business classes at Gallatin, the business classes at Stern are of course more in-depth and stuff, you know? Cause that's their specialty.
