<p>how many hours per week i spend on a given activity varies WILDLY depending on the season. for example in the winter i do the musical so i do significantly less community service in the winter. the common app doesn't have room for expansion in the hours per week part. what to do?</p>

<p>also, this winter i might be managing boys varsity basketball but the coach doesn't know yet because he has to get the green light from the athletic director. i really want to do it and don't know how to address it in the activity section since i'm not even sure if i will get to. help?</p>

<p>Don’t count any of the winter season in the no. of weeks, then put in the full amount of hours for the weeks that remain. I don’t think you can put in managing boys basketball since you don’t actually do it. Maybe by the time you have your interview you will have started and you can talk about it then.</p>
