Does anyone know how their public health major is? Also how easy would it be to switch into it from communications as an incoming freshman? Does public health count as a premed major?
Also how is the campus life? I keep hearing stories about how it sucks, and it’s kind of making me not want to go anymore. Is it just rumors?
I’m trying to decide between SD and Davis.
Public Health is a capped major so you would need to finish the required pre-req courses with a minimum GPA to switch into the major.

There is no such thing as a “pre-med” major. You need to take the Medical school course requirements to apply, but you can major in anything you want.
Visit the campus, talk to students and find out for yourself if UCSD is right for you.
Campus life is great. If you make the slightest effort to talk to people it’ll be an amazing experience.
