I’m an upcoming high school senior and am considering applying to WF (not ED tho). If anyone would like to tell me more about the school or answer my questions, please do!
-
How does WF being a liberal arts college differ from other private universities?
-
How good is the undergraduate business school? (I am interested in finance)
3a. How hard is it to get into the business school? Is it really competitive or would you say if you have a good GPA (say…3.8?) and good ECs , admission into the business school is doable?
- How exactly do majors work? I know you declare a major end of sophomore year, but do you take classes of interest during freshman and sophomore year?
Does anyone know why my thread was flagged? Does it violate community guidelines?
Admission into the WF Business School is a competitive affair. Students are not directly admitted into business school at WF, but must apply during their sophomore years for entry as a junior.
There are threads that discuss WF in the WF forum. Here’s one about the business school: Wake Forest University Business School
In that thread are various perspectives from students&parents about how easy/difficult it is to get into the business school. And there are varying degrees of satisfaction/unhappiness about the process. Well worth a read.

Wake Forest University (WFU) is not a liberal arts school (LAC), it is considered to be a highly ranked National University which offers study / majors in the liberal arts.
Thx for letting me know. Makes sense now.
