I am a football recruit who intends to attend Tufts. I intend to major in computer science, but I have a few questions:

I am aware that there is a Computer Science major in the School of Liberal Arts and in the School of Engineering. Does anyone know the major differences between these two? Is one “better” than the other?

Is there different housing for Engineering and Liberal Arts Students? Are the students in these two schools “segregated” or do they all mingle in the same dorms?

I know that the average SATs for the School of Engineering and the school of Liberal Arts differ, with Engineering having a higher average Math SAT. I have a feeling I would rather enter the Engineering curriculum for computer science, but I understand that it is much more difficult to get into the school of Engineering than the school of Liberal Arts. Here are my numerical stats:
V 670 M 700
SAT IIs 720 690 640
GPA 4.2 weighted, rank 11/341
If I were to apply ED 2, and being a football recruit, would it be resonable to apply to the school of engineering rather than the school of Arts and Sciences?

I greatly appreciate anyone’s help and advice
