Hello fellow college confidential member!

I have some questions regarding with common app

For the need-based financial aid, can non u.s citizen apply for it? because when I (non u.s citizen) pressed 'yes' it says i need to put down social security number which i do not have. Then, if i can't what kind of other scholarship i can earn?

In common app it asks you that if i have some organization that had helped me to write the common app. Is it beneficial to write an organization, or is it unbeneficial?

Thank you!

Good luck all of the seniors!

I actually don’t know what an international needs for financial aid, but I found this after I quick search & I think it might help: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/common-application/635622-social-security-number-need-based-aid-intls-what-do.html?highlight=international+financial

I doubt it matters. And if it does matter, it probably matters a tinsy bit at the most. They’re probably looking for organizations like Questbridge with their college prep scholarship or something like that. Just answer honestly.

Don’t take my word for anything though, I’m just another senior :P
