Is CRC's room sizes uncomfortably small? does it get pretty crammed?

Are the "cool" facilities like the screening room, dark room, etc. worth living there?

Is there really a dark room in CRC that is usable?

Are the suites simply divided up hallways or more than that?

Does Willard's distance from the campus get quite problematic in the winter?

Are there a lotta parties and does it get loud in Willard? esp. compared to Allison?

If you can answer any of these questions, pls tag a reply. It'll be much appreciated :)
thx

My answers are all based on my experience in the dorms 3-4 years ago (ugh, I feel old), but still might be helpful:

Is CRC’s room sizes uncomfortably small? does it get pretty crammed?
They are the SMALLEST rooms I ever saw on campus. It seemed uncomfortable to me, but the people living there all got used to it.

Are the suites simply divided up hallways or more than that?
Just divided up hallways. Each section has a lounge and a bathroom but it’s not like each suite is completely separated with a unique identity.

Does Willard’s distance from the campus get quite problematic in the winter?
You really get over any sort of distance issues. Occasionally you’ll have to walk to the other end of campus no matter where you live, and the 2ish minutes people living in Willard and Chapin have to add isn’t going to make or break you.

Are there a lotta parties and does it get loud in Willard? esp. compared to Allison?
If anything Allison is more of a “party” dorm, but Willard is social too, just in a different way. A lot of the social aspects of Willard are more cultish and inward, whereas Allison seemed to be a generally more social and outgoing dorm overall.

Ooh, i see. that was quite helpful. Thank you :)
