i have a couple questions:

1.) is Business administration the only major i can apply for at the Haas school of business?

2.) will berkeley allows me to major in accounting or finance OR is business administration the only major offered?

3.)if you get rejected from Haas can you still major in accounting or finance (if those majors are available at Berkeley)?

4.) What exactly are minors and is getting a minor useful?

5.)What "type" of jobs are available with a major in business administration and how is the pay?

:) thanks for all your help :)

I'm not a BusAd major or intended BusAd, so don't take everything i say for 100%:

1.) is Business administration the only major i can apply for at the Haas school of business?

Pretty certain BusAd is your only choice undergrad

2.) will berkeley allows me to major in accounting or finance OR is business administration the only major offered?

See above. But of course you can tailor your curriculum so that you're specialized in acccounting/finance, at least so I imagine

3.)if you get rejected from Haas can you still major in accounting or finance (if those majors are available at Berkeley)?

No. BUt you can major in Econ, and a lot of econ majors go into accounting/finance.

4.) What exactly are minors and is getting a minor useful?

Minors involve fewer requirements (for instance some minors only require five courses) in a specific field. I don't know how "useful" it is; I guess it's good to show that you have more than one area of "expertise"? I intend on getting a minor myself, mostly because of interest.

5.)What "type" of jobs are available with a major in business administration and how is the pay?

Average salary is $51,992 first year out.
