Questions regarding Structural Engineering Grad School

Hey all,

I am a third year student in the Architectural Engineering program at University of Texas at Austin (UT). I was wondering what information anyone could offer as to what schools I should be aiming for in terms of structural engineering grad school based on my current information. As of now, here is where I stand:

Overall GPA: 3.4532
Major GPA (all Arch. E and Civ. E courses): 3.6588
I have interned for 2 summers with an architectural, structural, and mechanical firm in Austin.
I worked with Bechtel Eng. on an international project in Soyo, Angola- we worked to design a school, playground, and canopy shelter. I did the shelter designs
I will be entering a coop with Buro Happold this coming summer and fall for a structural intern position
I am on the Leadership committee for the Terry Scholars Foundation, a scholarship organization I am a part of that grants 8 semesters paid tuition based on performance in highschool and some college criteria
I studied abroad in France
I am a leader in an educational outreach program in which engineers travel to inner city middle schools to teach physics/math/chemistry
I have not done structural-specific research

I have heard a good bit about how only certain criteria really matter for grad school. Based on what is listed above, what schools should I be looking to apply to? Are there any tips/tricks for grad apps? Thanks.

I can’t give you any advice about grad schools, but I wanted to wish you luck! I got my BS in Arch E. at UT, and went on to get my MS in Engineering there.
