Questions to ask a petroleum engineering professor

I am a high school student preparing to apply to colleges. This upcoming Monday, I will be attending a tour of Penn State. I plan to veer off and talk with a petroleum engineering professor (chair), whom I have scheduled a meeting with. I am going to ask questions reguarding both the petroleum engineering major and career. I am concerned with the future and some specifics of the job. I also want to use this as a networking oppourtunity.

What are some good questions to ask in the meeting? Any advice or ideas would be helpful.

Some I had in mind:

What is your personal opinion on the future of the oil industry?

Where do most Penn State graduates find work?

Maybe ask him if there are research opportunities for undergrads.
