questions

I submitted my application quite a while ago, but I just noticed that for the summer activities part I didn't list them in order of most recent first...And, were we only supposed to list activities from this summer, not previous summers? Also, for the place to list AP courses, I listed all the AP tests I've taken, including self studied ones (which I didn't take courses for)... that's no big deal right???

And, finally, in the additional info section, I put in an essay that was actually intended for another college (there's no way to tell though)... it's not a bad essay, but it's basically useless for MIT admission. That won't hurt either, will it?

What do you mean by "it's basically useless for MIT admission"? I doubt it will hurt you, but that's a funny comment.

Do you mean in the self-reported coursework section you listed AP courses you self-studied? Or in the area to list AP scores and such? If they were in the coursework section, they should have at least been marked as self-study, but if they were in the AP score section I think that is fine! In any case, it is probably good to note that they were self-studied, just to show you took the effort to self-study, but as long as you didn't make it seem like you took courses where you didn't, I think that should be great. :-)

Lalaloo6 answered everything else, but regarding the summer activities thing, you're absolutely fine.

The essay is useless because it doesn't do what it asks in the additional info section, tell MIT more about myself. It was just a little story about a college class I took.

And, I didn't mention that the extra APs were self-studied (in the area for AP, IB, ... courses); should I send an e-mail to clarify that?

i think any essay can tell "more about yourself"
and haha nice username?
