Quick answer needed - SAT Test Center

Please overlook the probable stupidity of my question and understand that I need a fast answer :/
I need to retake the SAT in may but there are no seats available in my country. Can I take it in another location even though I don't live in that specific country ?

pretty sure that you can

Yes you can. I have taken it in different countries and cities myself. But usually there is always a possibility to get a seat at the desired testing center. They usually have slots for standbys, I did that once and it was no problem. What I had to do was register for the test that I wanted for that specific date, but for a different test center and so when all the standbys showed up I had 1. priority (since I was only switching test center).

^
You won’t be able to test standby at the center you’re talking about because when I went there the woman told everyone that they won’t do standby anymore. Collegeboard doesn’t want them to because there are always problems with standby testing at this specific center and they won’t give them forms anymore (mailing problems causing two-month score delays, people who don’t fill forms correctly, ect…).
You can take the SAT wherever else you can.
