Hey guys, I sent in my appeal last week hoping to get at least a spring admit spot because USC has always been one of my top choices. Some quick questions:
1. When should I expect a response back if I sent in my letter last week? Do appeals always/usually come back after the May 1 SIR?
2. Is there any place I can check if they received my appeal?

hey, i applied as a freshman last year and was rejected so i submitted an appeal. they sent out the emails on May 13th. they sent out acceptance emails first, then the rejections at around 5-6pm. (my appeal was denied, but i applied as a transfer this year)

This is a great question! I usually suggest mailing appeals certified return receipt or if you live close enough to campus dropping them off there and asking for a receipt. If you havent done that then you will need to call admissions and ask. Also you must commit to another college you have been accepted to prior to the May 1st deadline or enroll in a community college.

Thanks for the responses guys. I just checked my certified mail and it said it hasn’t arrived yet so I’ll wait a little bit more but it’s making me slightly worried. Is this the correct address that I sent it to:

USC Office of Admission
Admission Decision Appeal
700 Childs Way
Los Angeles, CA 90089-0911

I mailed it on the 31st of march and I checked the confirmation number on my certified mail receipt and it hasn’t been updated to “delivered” yet. I sure hope it’ll go well though.
