very strong EC's, leadership, and I have been in most of my activities/community service since freshmen year.

Ranked around 10 out of 750 at my school.
-Applied to UCLA, UCB, UCI, UCSD, and UCSB.

California resident, Asian female.

Already got into UCI, but no regents or CHP. applied as business econ there

I’ve seen you post a lot haha and you seem really anxious for decisions to be released xD You only posted the objective part of your app xP and based on grades and test scores alone you are on the high side/ prolly going to get in. I guess it depends if you have matching awesomeness in your extracurrics and service + non cocky essays.
BTW, not that it matters much. But even if it is an UC honors approved class, from what I understand your high school must treat it like an AP class as well. Therefore, for Honors Pre-calculus to count as a 5.0 scale for your UC GPA it has to be counted as a 5.0 GPA in your high school GPA.

hahah yes I’m very anxious. I’ve been a bit paranoid ever since I didn’t get into the UCI Honors Program. It really bummed me out and i’ve been very nervous about LA since. And yes, Honors Pre-calculus is counted as a 5.0 weighted class at my school. thanks for the advice

I would say your SAT/ACT is on the lower end, but your GPA is very high for UCs. For that reason, I say you have 70-80% of chance of getting in. Your ECs and other stats look great!

i didn’t pass AP Calculus -.- fail… so i left it off of my app. my main concern is my decrease in senior year rigor. I know crazy people who are taking 5-6 AP’s senior year but have a lower GPA. IS my senior year course load enough for rejection?

Your subject/AP test are not strong. You should try to get AP English and Calculus 4 or 5, for they are like sorta placement tests to UCs. Ot you will need to take placement tests before school opens. It is hard to say how much they will or will not consider subject tests this year. But the result is coming soon, so just wait.

yes, ap score of 4 or 5 means you have mastered the subject, else the adComs think your school gives easy A’s. Again, more of a factor in selective colleges.
