can someone help evaluate my chances???

o and im asian...thats gunna kill my app.

What do you plan on studying?

Because a lot of your inconsistencies seem to be because you are math/science oriented. I would stress your background and interest in math/science in your essays.

Of the UC you'll definitely get in, I would pick UCI. But that's from a non CA view.

I'd also work to show of your extracurricular activities to add life to your application.

I think Berkeley might be a reach unless you show your personality in your app, because other than that I think you'd be shoe-in.

Hope I helped. :]

I don't know much about UCLA and UCB but I think you'd have a good shot at those!! The thing that hurts you most is the SAT/ACT score.
UCI and UCSB are usually seen to have more prestige than UCM. Merced is sort of in the middle-of-nowhere, anyway.
You're good for UCSD. UCD, UCSC, and UCR are safeties.

thank u guys..any more?
i really should have taken intiative and did more to improve my scores. I only took the SAT1 once, and all i did was put equations into my calculator the night before and read sparksnotes. Im so MAD at myself now. Before i took the ACT, i went onto sparksnotes also. and missed the whole section where they explained about punctuations. then i was screwed because i didnt know they would put such an emphasis on punctuation!!!!

o and i wrote about science for my 1st essay(quite generic). then my other two, i explained to them my situation with my family and such.

There is a SAT on the 2nd and ACT on the 7th (last test day for CSU/UC). They have this thing called standby testing, where you just arrive and test if they have space (I think). It's probably worth a try if you're inclined enough to do so
I don't think UCs discriminate among the races.
Also note that UCs will only let you pick 5 ECs. And if you have any artistic ability or talent, mention it. Colleges won't know anything unless you tell them

mention them through my essays?
i listed all my ECs and stuff on the app. but for my essays, i spent one on EOP, and for potential to contribute- i wrote about something else.

confucius:

UCB/UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Slight Reach
UCI/UCD/UCSB: Match
UCSC/UCR/UCM: Safe Match

wat is the probability of being slight reach? P(slight reach)=???? i wanna know..lol

what is lacking on my app that made UCB/UCLA reaches for me???
