^^This reflects my passion which is taking care of the elderly/those who cannot care for themselves. an elderly relative resides with my family and I think my essay topic will be the responsibilities that come with this b/c i have sort of assumed the position of caretaker, and its hard work... basically it will NOT be some bogus sob story but something genuine. & i can write well so the essay should come out nicely and segue into why I want to do premed

thank you all for even taking the time to read that. i know that you guys obviously cant decide the outcome but any kind of advice or anything that I could do at all would really be appreciated.
thanks to all and i hope you get the news you want tomorrow.

You have a decent chance. Your SATs and GPA are good. As for your ECs, it’s hard to say. It depends on how you sell them/how involved you actually are in them. Nothing was particularly impressive from your clubs, but perhaps if you show that you are a very accomplished athlete (state/regional/national awards) then you’ll have something going for you in that regard. I would definitely use at least one of the personal statements to sell yourself on your strongest EC (not the volunteering stuff, although that certainly has its place, too).
