Quick chances

I'm an out-of-state applicant (from Pa) wanting to apply to UMich SAS.

GPA: 4.35 of 4.6 (all AP/Honors classes; I have gotten 2 B's in academic classes)
SAT: 650 CR/720 M/710 W (although, I got a 750 M on a previous SAT, but I believe UMich only looks at individual sittings)
Rank: 22 of 630
EC's: I've only committed to 2 things for all four years of high school and I have a few EC's that I've held on for 3 years. My leadership is not extravagant: I've held a treasurer position (in 9th grade) for 2 clubs and I'm the captain of the tennis team.

I don't want to bore any of you with anything that will probably not be very weighty in the admissions process, so I made this short and sweet. I'm wondering whether I should be surprised to be rejected or not. My SAT scores aren't at a solid level with UMich's top percentage, and to my understanding, being Asian and OOS, my chances will decrease. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hmmm, that translates to about a 3.78 GPA (likely weighted), 1370 SAT, Top 5%, with a few passionate ECs. I'd say it's a match for you. Not so sure about your grades if they are weighted or not, but it may not matter with your SAT and class rank.

A solid match.
