Transferring from second year at Illinois Tech and I got accepted at these two schools. I am going to premed or predental, which school would you choose?

Chicago is a great city with lots to do and see, however I don’t know much about Loyola Chicago. My dad went to Miami for his masters and really liked it. Good college town, but it’s a party school! My parents say the campus is beautiful though, they really did enjoy it there.

Miami U had the prettiest campus of all the schools I visited. It’s a college town and you can tell right away. But it’s gorgeous and I honestly probably would have gone there if it was a bit smaller and I could afford it.

I don’t know much about Loyola Chicago but I attend Loyola New Orleans and I love the communal feel and emphasis on whole person education.

One of the biggest differences between the schools is that one is private, the other public. Loyola is also Jesuit and they will integrate religion info your education. Do you want that?

And do you prefer a small college town or a big city? How much can you afford (and what financial help did you receive from the schools)? Ask yourself questions of things you consider important in a school and see what school satisfies what criteria. You should also look and what you didn’t like at your precious school and make sure you aren’t transferring into a similar situation.

What major/s?

biochemistry or biophysics

If you’re going premed/predental then you need to look at cost. Which is cheaper?
