Quick Question about Applying for Housing

Is it ok to apply for Housing before I submit my Enrollment Confirmation?

yeah, i’ve read a bunch of times that they want you do apply for housing even if you don’t accept their offer yet so you’ll have housing.

thanks!!!

Yeah, the scoop is you have to put down a $500 deposit to register for housing, but it is 100 % refundable if you cancel your housing request before May 15, which is 2 weeks after the last day you could commit for any other school. So long as you get on it when you know you will be going elsewhere, there’s no risk.

Yup, you can. I agree with the other posts. I actually did the same thing because I’m still unsure but wanted to make sure I got housing at UW.

If you don’t go, just cancel it by May 15th and you get all the money back!

Can anyone provide me with a link on where to confirm housing and confirm enrollment?
If there is no direct link to it, can someone please tell me where I may find this information?
Thank you.

It should be explained in the Welcome Packet they mail you. You mail them this form and the fee, or you can do it online but it’s like an online checking system.

Housing app is here:
[UW Housing and Food Services > Student Housing > Residence Halls](<a href=“Housing & Food Services - UW HFS”>Housing & Food Services - UW HFS)

it’s the last item on the list. (Very obscure, I know)

The link above is where you confirm housing.

To confirm enrollment, look in your welcome packet!

Thank you very much!
Greatly appreciated.
