Quick Question About UT Dallas Scholarships

I am wondering is it possible to get both an AES scholarship and A National Merit Scholarship.

Academic Excellence Scholarship - Office of Undergraduate Education - The University of Texas at Dallas
National Merit Scholarships - Office of Undergraduate Education - The University of Texas at Dallas

No, it’s not possible. National Merit scholarships are part of the AES program.

The UTD AES/National Merit Finalist Scholarship is awarded to all finalists who are admitted and name UTD as their first choice school. The National Merit Finalist award is the highest level of AES scholarship.

Be aware that after you are accepted at UTD, you may receive an award letter from UTD telling you that you’ve qualified for a lower level AES scholarship, based on your scores. However, after you become a NM finalist, and designate UTD as your first choice, you will receive the full offer.
You may also, in addition to AES, receive a small, (maybe $750/year)
“College Sponsored National Merit Scholarship,” for which you will be notified through the National Merit Corp. If so, your cost of attendance (not counting personal expenses, books, travel) will be less than $1,000 per year.
