Quick Question

I plan on submitting the common app to my early action school later today. Is it alright if I submit it this to all my regular decision schools at the same time? Does it matter that I'm sending it in 3 months early? I plan to submit the supplements to the regular decision schools in a few weeks/months.

Building upon that question, I plan to submit my SAT/ACT scores to my early action school later today. Is it fine if I send them to my regular decision schools as well, or is it too early?

Thanks!

It does not matter when you send the app to regular decision schools. And yes, you can send your scores today as well.

Thanks hawkphoenix! That will make everything a little easier now.

The only problem with sending the applications three months early is that you won't have the option of adding any accomplishments or awards you might get in the meantime (senior year is filled with that suff, btw). You also might have an event or inspiration in your life that you would really like to include in your personal statement, but you would be unable to make any changes once the applications have been submitted.

You can get the applications all set to go and save them safely online (freeing you to stop worrying about them) and then submit them as they are about a week before they are due, and still have the option of making a few changes.

There is no advantage to submitting them so early in terms of acceptances unless the school has rolling admissions.
