quick sat question

If I took the sat 3 times but want to take it a 4th time to improve my score, will that look bad to colleges? Here are my breakdowns:

1: Cr: 600 Math: 600 Writing: 700

2: Cr: 700 Math: 650 Writing: 740

3: Cr: 700 Math: 720 Writing: 780

i think your scores are perfectly fine but it depends where you want to apply…your 3rd time looks great. A fourth would kill it for many ivy leagues and most colleges. I would advise against a 4th time.

But with score choice wouldn’t many top schools not even see the first couple of attempts?

Many top colleges superscore, and your superscore would be your 3rd sit in so i think you’d be fine. A 4th time, once again, will not look good, it’ll basically be saying “hey im trying to grab your attention by attempting a perfect score”.

Your final scores are excellent. I wouldn’t take the test again.

If you have some specific schools you’re interested in, contact their admissions office and ask their opinion.
