Quick ?tion about practice tests

i recently took a practice PSAT test in my Kaplan book and got a decent(-_-) score... but when i compared my scaled scores to a different scale (from a different book) it was totally different... like 200 points lower.
My question is, should these differences matter in my quest for a high score?

Advice would be greatly appreciated!
lol... first post

....its practically a yes or no question...

.... What are the two books you used?

well i took the practice test from the Kaplan prep book then i translated my raw scores in the official practice test booklet that the college board gave out prior to the october PSAT.

Kaplan's scaled are borked, dude. Go by the college board scale.

lol...borked?
i'll just assume that's a bad thing...
but dont u think i should just go with the scale that came with the test...

Nah, the Kaplan scales are dead wrong.

where r u getting your info from??
but i suppose u have a point... :/
lol. im just bummed that my scores SUCK, i guess. by using the college board scales i'm subjected to a large score deficit :[
