Quiting a sport my Senior year?

I am a Junior in high school currently doing my second year of high school sports. I joined my school’s sports team last year because I was a new kid who needed some friends and a healthier lifestyle. I was excited to continue this season but am now on the fence about quitting this sport my senior year. I don’t have the love for the sport that I see many teammates have and are often anxious all day waiting for practice to start and mainly be over. My primary worry is that I will lose most of my friends, who are on the team and be considered weak. I am also worried that I may have some regret for leaving the team my senior year. I need a second opinion, am I burnt out or should really quit it since its something I don’t love? Thank you.

On one hand, life is too short to do things that you don’t like. On the other hand, sports teams do come prebuilt with friend groups. Being part of a team is also a good life experience. What would you do with the extra time? If you don’t have an answer for that, I would stay on the team.
