Quitting a Sport Senior Year?

I have put on a lot of my applications already that I have completed 4 Years of swimming, however, today I had a conversation with my swim coach that did not end well. At this point, it looks like I won't be back for another year of swimming as a senior. My question to y'all is, Will colleges find out that I didn't compete my senior year? Should I got back and change all my applications?
Basically, what is my best course of actions here?

(Sorry if this is on the wrong section, I'm fairly new here)

Did you send out your applications already?
I am not positive about this, but if I was you and I already sent out the applications, I would just not worry about it.

Why aren’t you invited back? Disciplinary reasons, lack of talent–what?

But regardless of the reason, it’s dishonest to put 9-12 on your application if you know for certain you won’t be participating.

I’m quitting because I won’t be here for most of the winter, so I’ll miss a lot of training. Additionally, I don’t contribute much to the team so I would rather enjoy my senior year/winter.

why the freak did you swim if you didn’t enjoy it?

if you didn’t send out your apps yet, change it

Then just put on your apps that you participated 9-11. To do otherwise would be lying.

What I’m asking though, since some of the applications were sent in, is if the colleges will see that I’m “lying”.

why would they care? it’s such an insignificant part of your application. Kids get to change their minds. You haven’t yet NOT participated, have you? It would be presumptuous of you to NOT list grade 12 until that is finalized. Don’t penalize yourself over a non-issue.

That’s why at the bottom of every application I’ve seen it has you to agree that everything you have put is true, then to date it. So you are stating that it is true at that date. You should be fine.
