<p>I can't decide which one to take; does College Writing actually help me with my writing?</p>
<p>So far my schedule looks like:</p>
<p>CS 61A
Math 53 (or Math 1B)
Political Science 1
One of those 2 R&Cs</p>
<p>Any recommendations for R&C?</p>
<p>take afro r1a. south asian has really bad profs. who grade ure assignments and its not the most interesting stuff in the world unless ure indo lol</p>
<p>College Writing R4A is one of the more difficult R&C sequences. I, like many other slackers, would opt for South Asian R5A.</p>
<p>The GSI who teaches South Asian R5A may or may not be qualified to give you rigorous help with honing your writing skills. I can only assume the GSIs who teach College Writing R4A are more expert at that. If you want actual help with writing, and aren’t scared of a difficult course, you might consider Rhetoric 1A.</p>
<p>oh ok, thanks. Any idea how much tougher College Writing R4A is compared to South Asian? I’m trying not to be a slacker here… trying… :P</p>
