Rack the ACT Sections

For those who just did the ACt, rack the sections from easiest to hardest,
1 is easiest
5 hardest

For me,
1- Reading section
2-Science Section
3-English Section
4- Wrting Section
5-Math Section

1 - English
2 - Reading
3 - Writing
4 - Math
5 - Science

I found the first three to all be very easy. Math was harder than those, but not too tough. I thought April’s math was harder. Science I struggled with. I ran out of time and guessed B for the last 4, and from what I’ve been reading in the Science thread only 1/4 or 0/4 were actually B.

1 - English
2 - Writing
3 - Reading
4 - Math
5 - Science

But, nothing was extremely difficult.

Math

Science

Writing

English

Reading

Reading had never been my strongest subject ;(

1- English section
2- Reading Section
3- Writing Section
4- Math Section
5- Science Section

Obviously I’m more of an English person… plus I haven’t taken Geometry for a while and never touched Trig. Science was just overwhelming.

Changing it up on everyone:

English! (I’m the grammar police)

Writing (eh, a 30 min. essay can’t be too bad)

Science (we’re tight like that)

Reading (Why am I such a slow reader?!!! Barely finished before time was called)

Math (this is ridiculous, considering I took the ACT a month and a half ago and got a 35 on the math and I think I’ll end up with a 33 this time)

Overall I would say that today’s test was easy for English and Reading, medium-hard for math and science.

1-math
2-writing
3-science
4-reading
5-english

English

Writing

Reading

Science

Math

1- Reading
2- English
3- Math
4- Science

English

Writing

Math (tho I failed this one)

Reading

Science (BANE OF MY EXISTENCE ■■■ ■■■)

1 - Writing
2- Science
3- Math
4- English
5 - Reading ( I totally ran out of time… didn’t even have a chance to read the last passage…so I just filled in random bubbles before time was up)

My proctors were terrible! She ended up giving us 30 minutes instead of 35 minutes. Thank god I noticed! She and the other proctor caused me to be so distracted! They kept coming in and out of the room throughout the test. What do you guys think will happen if I complain? Would it even be worth the effort to do that?

English

Math

Reading

Writing

SCIENCE

English and math are by far the easiest for me and science is by FAR the hardest. Writing and reading aren’t a big deal, but they aren’t quite as easy as English and Math. It sucks though, because there is a HUGE discrepancy between my science scores and all of my other scores. The first time I took the test I got a 36 English, a 35 reading, a 34 math and a 24 science. I am just way too pressed for time in the science. I completely agree with mabsejenbu123. The funny thing is, science is one of my better subjects in school… but I cannot possibly read and analyze graphs and data that quickly. Plus, I have no confidence in that section so I kind of paralyze myself even further. It’s a mess, ha!

1-Reading
2-Math
3-English (I spent about 15 minutes of this test sneezing. Not difficult, just a bad start.)
4-Science
Writing (Only because i’m so ready to leave by the end that my work completely sucks)

English

Math

Reading

Science

Writing (only because I don’t really care or put any effort into his section  )

1 - English
2 - Writing
3 - Math
4 - Science
5 - Reading

Science and Reading were horrible.

1 - Math
2 - English
3 - Science
4 - Reading
5 - Writing

Reading and science are pretty close. Skipped 4 on reading and 5 on science, but the guesses on science are supposedly correct. We’ll see…can’t believe SAT scores come out a day after…instead of like a week before.

english

math

reading

science

The SAT/ACT score release thing makes a lot of sense if you think about it. The ACT scores come out the 24th WITHOUT the essay-writing score, because that won’t affect your composite. You won’t receive your essay score for a few weeks after that. The SAT score you receive on the 25th includes the essay score in your writing and overall score, so it makes sense that it would take longer to correct.

^ Yeah but the ACT subject tests aren’t released until the 25th, which doesn’t make sense because they should take a lot less time to score.

ACT comes out 24th. And that’s 11 days after we took the test lol do you realize how many kids take these tests? That’s pretty fast if you ask me. If you don’t count weekends, which I’m sure they don’t work on, that’s a little over 7 days (since the scores are released at noon central time, if I remember correctly) it takes them to score all the tests and handle some with mistakes on them.
