How do you all rank the different sections on the ACT? Which one is the hardest to improve and which one is the easiest to improve on? Please rank them for me. It would be cool to see what everyone thinks. Please include the writing section in the rankings. thanks! :)

for me: hardest to easiest

science-reading-math-english

science-math-reading-english

Easiest to hardest:
English, math, reading, science

hardest to easiest:

science, reading, english, math

Hmmm... easiest to hardest would be:

~ Math
~ English
~ Science
~ Reading

Easiest to hardest

English - Math - Writing - Reading - Science

Easiest to hardest:

English - Reading - Math - Science

crap. how can someone get better at the math and science sections?

These points are skewed. If you took Science and Reading first, they would probally be the easiest sections. Its most likeley because we are tired or not used to the increased pace that we think they are harder.

Easiest to hardest:
English-Reading-Writing-Math-Science

I do agree with dnlgao. By the time I get to science I'm just too tired to think straight which could be why I think it is the hardest. Math I just don't like at all- I'm much more literature/writing oriented.

Getting better at math was just a matter of reviewing things that I hadn't taken since the 7th or 8th grade. Review basic equations like distance formula, midpoint, quadratic, etc. and basic geometry rules. Doing practice tests really helped me also (especially for science). Practice is key.

I totally agree with dnlgao. The English section, in my opinion, is the easiest section, but a lot of that has to do with the fact that one completes it when they are not mentally fatigued.

Easiest to Hardest
Math - English - Reading - Science

As of now, for the Feburary test:
Easiest to Hardest
- English
- Math
- Reading/Science (tie!)

This will change when I get my results most likely haha

For me without the skweing of time and stamina.

Easiest to Hardest

Reading, Writing, Math, Science.

hmmm, for me:
(easiest to hardest)
English, Reading, Science, Math.

For me, overall easy to hard:
Reading, English, Science, Math

Easy to Hard:
Reading, English, Math, Science

Almost the exact opposite from the December test for me.

easiest --> hardest
english > math > reading > science

wow. i think maybe its just cause i lose focus as the test goes on -_-

Hardest to Easiest:
