<p>This seems like a silly topic, but I know rain boots really really popular in New Orleans, especially with the girls. Do the guys wear rain boots too? Since it rains so much and often for so long and hard I can't imagine sneakers or flip-flops are very comfortable or practical. Just plain black or green wellie type boots. or shrimp boots if you prefer,lol! </p>
<p>I got my son a pair of Tretorns (Gunnar). They look like a high top sneaker. I’m not sure how much he actually wore them, but it made me feel better knowing that I sent them! Neurotic mom strikes again! BTW they r having a 30% off sale!</p>

<p>My two boys just go with running shoes on rainy days. They might get a bit wet, but they just aren’t into any excess gear. I send an umbrella every year, but they usually come home with the tags and they go with a hooded jacket instead.</p>
