Raising SAT Math score.

I got my SAT score a while ago and my English score was high while my math score was on the lower side (510). I was wondering if anybody knows any great SAT math books or online programs to help me raise my score at least 100 points? Thank you!

College Panda Math! It raised my Math score by a 100 points.

Thank you so much! I got the book a while ago and I love it.

Have you completed Algebra 2 yet?

I would use the Humongous Book of SAT Math Problems if you’re looking for a book to help you raise your math score.

Speaking as an SAT tutor, I will say the following. If you are scoring a 510 there is probably a lot of content you aren’t sufficiently familiar with. You could raise your score some by doing practice problems. A better bet is to start off by learning some math (you can always do practice problems later).

I would recommend getting either an Algebra II or Precalc textbook, or both–one that you find readable. Read the relevant chapters (even if they already seem familiar), listen to videos on similar topics on Youtube or Khan Academy to bolster your intuition (hearing something explained multiple ways will often give you a better understanding), complete the practice problems in the textbook.

Here is a list of some topics you probably need to go over (this list is not exhaustive–just good to get you started). There are also word problems corresponding to each of these topics.
-Linear Equations and Linear Modeling
-Simplifying Expressions
-Solving and Graphing Quadratic Equations
-Graphing Functions (Polynomial, Rational, Abs Value, Exponential)
-Transformations and Translations
-Complex Numbers
-Absolute Values
-Solving and Graphing Equations with Square Roots
-Solving Systems (Linear and Otherwise)
-Exponent Rules
-Equation Solving and Manipulation
-Various Facts From Geometry (Less Central and Students Tend To Remember These Better)
