Is it possible to do so? I took a prac SAT a few months ago (from Princeton Review, I think) and I got a 2090 (or something around that; I forget the exact number). Would it be possible to raise my score to a 2300+ by the time the PSAT rolls around next year? I really want to get NMSQT next year, and I plan to take the SAT right after I take the NMSQT.

I'm thinking of doing 3-4 vocab words a day for an entire year so I can have ~1100 vocab words down by then. Also going to do an essay a week for as long as the prompts allow me to.

definitely possible. I scored 1980 in January (590 CR 770 M 620 W - 10 essay), then after just 3 weeks of study and 10 practice tests, I scored 2240 (680 CR 760 M 800 W - 12 essay), and then, after 6 more practice tests, and lots of vocab studied, I think I brought my CR over 750 (I’ll know for sure in 10 days!). So just keep practicing, and studying vocab, and your score will rise. Good luck!

Do you have any tips on how to do well on the SAT/ACT essays?

You’re scoring really high right now, and I think you can definitely get 2300+. I really like your vocab memorizing plan :)
