Random nonsensical things you notice about colleges

Hey guys, I wanna make a thread for random tiny detail things you like/dislike about a college you visited or researched. Please make an effort to make them funny!

At Harvard, I really liked the little squirrels that ran about like puppies
I liked how the admin representative gave me a free sticker from Uchicago
I find it ridiculous that the Brown logo has a sun with a face in it, like Teletubbies
I how the green and white scarf in the Dartmouth store that looked like a slytherin scarf

Put more yourself!! :)

In my school’s Humanities and Social Sciences building, some student wrote on the placard next to a fifth floor classroom “This really isn’t room [insert number here].” Another person scrawled “Yes it is.” It was followed by “No it isn’t!” and eventually escalated into a tiny squabble…on a classroom door placard. It was pretty funny!

I also love the giant trees we have on campus; they bloom with these gorgeous purple flowers and the petals fall onto the walkways. It’s a lovely sight!

The squirrels at Notre Dame are like bears. And have no fear. And jump on people.

At UNC, the recycling bins are labeled something like “Bottles,” “Cans,” and “Newspapers and Magazines” (with appropriately shaped holes).

All I could think about was that the students must hoard all their class assignments and various other paper products in their dorms for lack of the correct clearly-labelled can.

I also noticed that the ROTC Armory meant for three branches of the military had three grills behind it. It makes me think that the branches hate each other and won’t share grills. I imagine three cadets in three different uniforms passive-aggressively flipping meat on their respective grills. Why can’t they just get along?!? :D
