Rank HYPSM in Terms of Preference

MIT/Harvard
Yale
Princeton
Stanford

“MIT - Since 8
Stanford - Since 10”
I don’t think I even knew the name of colleges until the 8th grade. And at that point it was probably local schools

MIT
Harvard
Yale
Princeton (no double major)
Stanford

Tbh, Stanford should on paper be ranked higher on my list but I gave it fourth because I just don’t really feel like traveling across the nation for school. :P

Yale

Stanford

Harvard

(tie) Princeton

(tie) M.I.T.

The only one I’ll apply to (if I even do) is Yale.

Stanford
MIT
Yale
Princeton
Harvard

stanford
princeton
harvard
yale

m.i.t. (i am so not a math/science person)

Yale
MIT
Harvard
Stanford
Princeton

Although the only one I would actually consider would be Yale, the rest aren’t appealing at all.

Really? Why? Princeton and Harvard are probably two of the most similar colleges to Yale.

My friend (who ended up at Yale) & I visited Harvard, and it just didn’t seem like everyone was incredibly happy to be there. I dunno, the vibe I got was kinda weird.
& I’m biased against Princeton purely for the reason that it’s located in NJ, & I don’t get along well with the people I know from there lol. & I feel like it might be the most preppy of the three.

Another myth spread on CC and by others. Even if Princeton is ‘preppier’ than Yale, it’s not a big enough difference to be considerably noticeable on campus. Harvard and Yale have plenty of ‘preppy’, rich kids as well, mark my words. :)

^Lol I know they do, I just see Princeton as having the most (probably because my friend that goes there is the preppiest person I know).

Top to bottom:
Princeton
Harvard
Stanford
MIT
Yale

Which is kinda funny…considering ~3 weeks ago I thought I might have been headed to Yale. I guess that’s just a testament to how you just can’t go wrong with these schools.

Harvard
Princeton
MIT
Yale
Stanford (I live on the east coast, way too far to travel).
