MIT is definitely not the school for me. Stanford is my dream school. And I have somewhat of a natural apprehension for Harvard for some reason. But I’d definitely attend Harvard over any school if I was accepted.

I’ve always loved and wanted to go to Harvard. Stanford’s great and has an amazing location. I’m really into math/science and it’s close to Harvard so MIT is third. Yale is great as well, but I don’t know if the artsy/bubbly factor would be right for me (also not a fan of Gothic architecture :P). Finally, Princeton’s undergraduate focus seems great, but it’s grade deflation scares me. I don’t want to receive a C in a class that I should be getting an A in, just because a few students in the class are outperforming me.

Yale (I just really like it there)
Stanford (I would love to go here but it got vetoed by my family)
Notre Dame (I know it isn’t on the list but I love it)
Harvard (I think I would really like it here and Princeton but I just won’t end up here or P)
Princeton
MIT (I am just not a math person)

1) Yale (8/10)
2) Stanford (7.5/10)
3) Harvard (6.5/10)
4) Princeton (6/10)
5) MIT (1/10)

I’m more interested in Brown, East Coast LAC’s, and Midwest schools.

MIT since 7th grade, even before i was really into CS
Yale because it’s all smiles all the time
Harvard because Leverett house kicks ass
Stanford because it’s in CA, but i’m not allowed to leave new england :(

a large gap the size of infinity
Princeton because their majoring (or lack thereof) system is confusing. and no double majoring. they sent me a latter saying “At Princeton, students don’t major…” yeah they lost my vote.

@MIT and CPU

Time to see who here is the real programmer.

First person to solve gets the glory and the women.

skarpi- i’ve never taken any programming/CS classes, except in visual basic which i recently started, and we didn’t do that.

i’m a girl, but i wouldn’t mind getting the women.

Stanford > Yale > Harvard > MIT > Princeton

damn it… looks like i’m stuck to doing my own HW

:(

Harvard (because if I’m going prestigious, I may as well be drowning in snooty)
Stanford (Cali, marginally more relaxed)
Princeton (nice alumni interview, more undergrad focus, eating clubs)
Yale (Just…not a fan)
MIT (awesome school, but I’m not interested in a math/science career)
