Rank my reach schools in their difficulty of being accepted

MIT

Cornell

Stanford

Caltech

Berkeley

Harvey Mudd

Carnegie Mellon

I consider all of those schools my "reach" ones. Please rank them 1st being the most difficult to get accepted and 7th being the easiest.

Berkeley

Carnegie Mellon

Harvey Mudd

3,1,4,2,5,7,6 . . . depending on the strength of your personal statement essay, GPA, ECs, standardized test scores and hooks. "Acceptance difficulty will vary from student to student. For a different student, I might rank them differently. But, the above is my best estimate for you.

Hardest: Stanford, MIT
Hard : Caltech (this could be switched with above depending on your stats; Caltech is more stats based), Cornell
Medium: Berkeley (if in state otherwise move to Hard)
Less Difficult: Carnegie Mellon, Mudd

For Carnegie Mellon it depends on what school you’re applying to. H&SS makes it the least difficult to get into while applying to SCS (which seems more likely given your school choices) makes it harder than Cornell.

Berkeley isn’t that hard compared to these, in-state at least.
