Why would SCU rank so low? Butler, Xavier, San Diego, Marquette, Providence, etc. would be in the best of rest?

Rank them the best for what? What is best for one thing might not be the best for something else.

Yes, I think the last couple are interchangeable with the ones you mention. I would add St. Mary’s (CA) to your list.
BTW, Butler is not a Catholic college.

USD probably has prettiest campus.
