*take into account prestige, medical curriculum, preperation for medicine, and top residency matches
*assume that the same student is the top of his class at each of the programs, which program will land him the best residency?
*money and location are NOT a problem
--thanks guys

I don't think anyone can answer this question (or at least no one I know since I don't know anyone who has attended all these medical schools)

I think all of them will prepare you for the field of medicine and as long as you are a top student, you should have your pick of residencies.

If you are a high school student thinking about entering one of these, I wouldn't worry too much about this yet. Residency is a long long long long long way off.

its pretty much usmle scores that give u ur pick.

last year the student to score the highest on the USLME was from a school in the Carribean so it doesnt matter all that much if all u wanna do i s practice medicine

I'd say it's a combination of things: good grades, good recommendations, good performance during the clinical rotations, perhaps some research sprinkled in there, perhaps making the aoa, and of course, a high score on the usmle step 1

I agree. ALL the listed programs above are very difficult to get into and students perform very well at ALL of these, no exceptions.

yeah they all prepare you in the same med education, BUT you have to consider that some schools are just better than others. northwestern has the best medical program because it gives you the best undergraduate experience (comparative to other med program schools) and it has a top-ranked medical school. the people who get into that program will later achieve high usmle scores anyway b/c they were obviously bright enough to get into the program.
brown is probably #2 in terms of the best combined undergrad and med school, but its 8 years and im not a big fan of brown as a university anyway.
