Brandeis, Northeastern, Wellesley, RPI, Barnard College, Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell, Johns Hopkins
On a list, how would these schools compare in computer science?
Cornell, Brown, Johns Hopkins, Dartmouth, Northeastern, RPI, (then Barnard Brandeis and Wellsley in some order)
bump
Personal opinion/experience knowledge disclaimer, and also that ranking in order is a bit silly but with that said:
Tier 1 - known very well for CS
Brown
Cornell
Tier 2 - notable for CS
Northeastern
RPI
Tier 3 - good for CS
Rest
I want to point out the names I gave each of the tiers - all of these are pretty good options in the end here.
Personally, I am biased to Brown and Northeastern which I think offer some of the best CS teaching between those listed. The program is described here via Northeastern, but was developed closely with Brown and used at some other top CS schools like Waterloo.
