Ranking for me !

Economics + Political Science

U of Chicago
UCLA
Carleton
Claremont McKenna
Hamilton
Macalester
Occidental College

How do you guys rank them?
I want to do international business in the future~

I will rank Claremont McKenna at the top because Claremont is all about Econ and Poly Sci, and International Relations. They're best known for that

U of Chicago
Claremont McKenna
Macalester
UCLA
Carleton
Hamilton
Occidental College

to tell you the truth..i have no idea

U Chicago

The Rest

Yeah, that's what my advisor told me. She rank CMC on the top, then Carleton, then U of Chicago...
I just went to U of Chicago last week, I don't like the neighbourhood very much. But U of Chicago has international reputation. I'm an international student.
So it's really difficult for me to decide which one is best for me.

I'm wondering how your adviser figured to put UChicago third. Internationally and nationally, Chicago is top ranked in both these fields.

coz' she think U of Chicago focus on graduate students, I won't get as good education as in CMC or Carleton.

Princeton review thinks differently =).

princeton review is done by student surveys.

And obviously the undergrad students are happy then...?
Idn.

I don't see any overall ranking in Princeton Review, only specific ranking.

YouTube - University of Chicago: Best University

Just to warn you thats only the PR's evaluation and no one elses. It does say something about the college though.

Thank you for the video!!

What's the point of ranking these schools? They're all very different and do not deserve to be compared. The 5 LACs have much smaller student bodies than the other 2 schools, and that really is an important consideration when choosing. I don't even think that UCLA and U of Chicago should be compared directly. U of Chicago has much smaller classes, but the social life at UCLA is much better. If you're deciding between the two universities on this list, I'd go with UCLA, especially if you can snag in-state tuition.

I don't know... just wanna know which one do you think is better for me.

U Chicago ftw
