As everyone knows, The Ivy League is made
up of 8 schools that compete with each other
in intercollegiate sports. Allow me to suggest
a ranking of "The Best School Within the Conference"
thread. "The Best School Within the Conference"
thread includes ALL athletic conferences from
The Big 10, ACC, to the D3 Centennial Conference.

The best school criteria is on any and all subjective
or objective criteria you might one to introduce.

ACC- Duke (loaded academics in conference; UVa, UNC, UM, Clemson, Wake)
SEC-Vanderbilt (head and shoulders above the confrence)
Pac 10-Stanford (slightly beats Berkley, also a loaded confrence)
Big East-Notre Dame (edges out Georgetown)
Big 12 UT Austin (I think its better than Baylor)
SWAC-Rice

ND is an independent for its storied football program and its academics, endowment, and alumni support are far greater than Gtown's. ACC-Duke dominates as Stanford does in PAC10. Patriot League-Colgate and Holy Cross. Colonial League-W&M.
