I do not know much about accepted applicants to this program.
The Huntsman Program of Intl Studies and Business dual degree extremely appeals to me as I want to go into a field in which Law (my grad field of interest) combined with a background in International Studies and Economics would be super prime. To be brief, I want to save the world.

Now that the my super extensive background intro is done, here are my two unsolved inquiries.

1) Are there any past/present Huntsman-ers around here? I hope to get a better understanding than the limited perspective I have of the "types" (sorry for the blanket term) of students that get accepted to Huntsman.

2) From the website, I read that a good number of HM graduates do go into Law. My main concern is that my essay will not be business-related enough, as like I said, I am not leaning towards "business woman entrepreneur" as I am towards "international background of law and economics => saving the world".

I would love to chat further - please post here/PM me if you can tolerate my questions. I can tone down the tone if you'd like.

Also: “All Huntsman students major in International Studies in the School of Arts & Sciences. (The International Studies major is designed specifically for Huntsman students and is not available to other students.)”

What is the difference between the International Studies major at the SAS and the International Relations major o.O?

as i sit here with a cup of instant coffee too hot to drink the upper right hand corner of my screen steadily reminds me that it is now past 4 am. my supplement rtf (yes i’m too cheap to invest in microsoft office again) remains blank and my stomach demonstrates its hunger urges

Dude, prinki94’s reply was not irrelevant. S/he indeed gave you the answer you seek. The type of people at Huntsman is the type that will live in their own world. It doesn’t matter what question you bring up to them, they will just say what they wanna say :))
