I was about a 5ish. That was because I just wanted to rock my GPA before I transfered. And I did.

But really, not much. For grad school, however, it's a different story. Since three of my 5 top choices are Ivies (Kennedy, Wilson, Columbia) and two are not (Goldman, IR/PS) I have to say that it's a 10. What am I willing to do? ROCK HARD.

Diversify myself.

Drink till she's cute.

Kill the GRE.

Have a blast in college, and still get into one of them. :-D

well tho i applied to 2 ivies and was rejected by both, i was not really upset or anything so i guess 4 or so.....
grad might be another story :p

2-3. Ivies are way out of my league (hah. no pun intended), even though Columbia has been a dream since about 5th grade. I dropped that off my "apply" list because it's just too unrealistic for me. I think I'd probably prefer a public (which is what I'll attend this fall) than a private, anyway.

I'm going to be applying to 2-3 next year (brown, princeton, possibly yale), but I know I have a .00000000000001 chance of getting in even as a urm. As long as I get a decent education, I'm all good. I'm applying to where I'm going to be applying based on my priorities, and prestige isn't one of them.

i am a 1. i am not into the whole ivy league thing especially since they all suck in engineering.
i will be going to berkeley this fall. i fell in love w/ the school.
go bears!

Although I will be applying to Penn, it's not because it's an Ivy-League school. It's because it's a well respected school with excellent programs in the sciences in an unbelievable location...

I'll give you a 2. It's not important that I get accepted by an "Ivy-League" school, but rather by a good school: ex, Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon, Berkley: not Ivy-League but pretty darn good.

i dont care about the ivies cause there are many schools just as good or better than them...i do care though for HYP (not that i got in any of em =/)
