Wat chance do i hav of getting in?

well you're lucky they don't have you write anything, because your spelling could use some work...

I applied to the faculty of engineering (dept of chemical engineering) with stats fairly similar to yours minus all the AP's.

They look at courses specific to your intended major; so for you, that'd be your math and science grades. Those are all that matter, and if you're acing all of them, you should be fine. Don't take my word as anything near final, but I got in to chemical engineering with straight A's in all my math course, and an A- in all my sciences (A's for Chem, and an A one semester in physics, preceded by a B earlier that year). McGill doesn't care about your 9th grade marks, it's mainly your grade 11 and 12 grades.

My spelling was bad because i was typing as though i was on AIM, but thanks for your reply

i only had one ap. You look super good. Your chances are 92.7% +- 3.49% error based on my calculations.

u got in?

also thanks for doing out the math!!!

yes, we know. 1mike12 is an idiot!

Ur sat's are very low. Hopefully grades can make up for it, but it doesnt look like a sure thing at all.

Bigtwix, how do can you say that (and feel 100% confident that you're right)? Do you work in admissions? Have you even gotten your decision yet? It's one thing to troll a board, it's another thing to troll around pretending like you own the place.

His SAT II's are fine, his SAT I Cr, however is well below the "acceptable minimum"...I just noticed that now, and that seems disconcerting (this statement was gathered from Applicants from U.S. high school programs (in the U.S.A. and other countries) ).

If you get rejected, it should come as no surprise that it was your CR score that held you back. Your letter grades are completely good, it's just that one section.

If english isn't your first language, perhaps you should take the TOEFL and talk to someone at admissions (if you REALLY want to come here).

I never said I was confident, I just said that his chances don't exactly look strong because of his SATs (1s only). His grades are great, but SAT1s arent at all.

No I havent gotten my decision.

Trolling? What trolling? I come on here to answer this person's question, make fun of 1mike12s lame remark ("92.7% +- 3.49%") and that is all.

And finally, do you even know anything about 1mike12.

He revived some 5 threads today I wanna say, all with stupid responses like "mcgill dad is a genius", which it is true that he is a great help, but mike is just trying to be annoying.

Ide say his worst one today though was reviving a thread I had posted about a month ago about East Asian Studies language classes at McGill.
If i remember correctly, his post said something like "I love big butts and I cannot lie" or something like that.

Either the threads were deleted though, or just the posts (which would mean they returned to a few pages back...i reported his pointless posts).
