Please rate my chances! Thanks!

Well, based on your projected high school GPA, projected SAT scores AND your projected SAT II scores, and your projected AP exam scores, I'd say you have a GREAT chance.

Better start working on those essays!

wow. This is so sweet. You mean you're not even in high school yet? aww :p. Okay seriously, I think it's great that you're thinking ahead about college and planning some long term goals. You seem to be headed on the right track so keep it up!! The best advice for someone at your stage would be to start reading widely and delevop a love for reading up on ANYTHING. This is something people realise they should've done when they're preparing for their SATs but by then it's too late to start. Any topics you're particularly interested in? Read up about them online or wikipedia then and see what else you can find out about. Pick up a few classics or ask your english teacher for some recommended reading lists and page through them over the summer. This is one of the best strategies for increasing your world knowledge, discovering your passions and improving your verbal skills so you can at least ace the critical reading and verbal section ;) Good luck kiddo and READ READ READ!!

Aww... I made one of these posts three years ago. Yeah, it is awesome that you're thinking about college this early -- you'll be way ahead of your class by junior year. But please, please, please don't let "getting in to school" rule your life!
Another thing to really keep in mind is that, even though you've got everything planned out so well, chances are that unexpected things will happen...

yeah, its good that you are so self-motivated already but don't structure your life for the next 4 years towards getting admitted into HYP... its a lottery a lot of the time...BUt it seems like you may have a head start so i will say good luck.

I also think that for that senior year you should take AP Govt instead of regular govt. Maybe i'm biased, but AP Govt is probably one of the easier exams plus it is only really a one semester course
