<p>5 Years with enviornmental chemistry volunteer program- test coastal water for bacteria, etc.
3 Years volunteering at hospital, started an organization for cancer research, raised ~$10,000 so far
Mission trips to underpriviledged areas of US with Church youth group
Yearbook class photographer/editor
Outreach comittee
Honor Comittee member (student-led disciplinary comittee- student body elects 3 people for that)
Church bell choir- 3 years
Dance: ballet, modern, jazz, school dance company, 4+ years
School musical/plays: 3 years</p>

<p>If you can substantiate that cancer research organization you founded, i expect it would make you more appealing than the average candidate (looking only at ECs). </p>

<p>For schools that allow you to upload things for your online app, upload newspaper articles or something that praise your organization's accomplishments.</p>
