So, I felt that CC was lacking rate my schedule threads, so here goes:

AP Prep Precalculus
AP Physics B
AP US History
AP Language and Composition
UW College Spanish 350
Chemistry

So, it is is the hardest schedule that was available to me. I wanted to take AP Chem, but first year chemistry is a pre-req for that class and there is no honors option for first year chemistry.

Also, I see kids on CC who take Calc BC their freshman year! I am in "honors" math at school, but yet I don't get to take Calc until senior year. :/

Lastly, I ended up taking Health/PE classes my first two years of high school. They are graduation requirements and I wanted to get them out of the way. Now, I see that kids at school are taking PE "online" and basically paying for these credits.

Does taking those classes put me at a disadvantage? I could have taken AP Econ or some other interesting class this year, rather than wasting time watching movies in health class.

Anyway, help would be appreciated. Thanks

AP Prep Precalculus–
does this exist?

Your schedule is fine. Don’t worry about the people on here, it’s nothing to stress about. The classes I took junior year wasn’t as rigorous as yours anyway :).

Probably not an AP class, but it’s a prerequisite in some schools in order to take AP Calc :)

AP Prep isn’t an actual AP class, it is just a preparatory AP class for Calculus. :)

I’d say any schedule with 4 APs is certainly “good enough.” Also, I’m not going to call someone a liar, but taking AP Calc BC as a freshman seems like they maaaaay be exaggerating the truth a tad, or else they are like a super mathmatical genius. The people on here posting their schedules are usually extreme geniuses so I wouldn’t stress out if your schedule doesn’t seem to be as rigorous.

At my school, this would need to be the case for Calc BC freshmen year:
4th: Adv. Algebra 1
5th: Adv. Geometry
6th: Adv. Algebra 2
7th: PreCalc
8th: AP Calc AB
Freshman: AP Calc BC

Not buying it.

Well this was my two year schedule:

Freshman:
AP Calc BC
AP Chem
AP Physics
Span 2
IB Lang
Varsity Baseball

Sophomore:
AP Comp Sci
WHAP
IB Lang
Span 3
Varsity Baseball:

For math: Multivariable Differential Calculus, Multivariable Integral Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations online at Stanford’s EPGY. (College Credit as well as Stanford Transcripts)
Additionally, a very rigorous proof based calculus course, Probability & Statistics, Intro to Linear Algebra and Intro to Differential Equations at Harvey Mudd, on campus. (College Credit as well as Harvey Mudd Transcripts)
For a total of 8 math courses

I took Honors Pre-calc and honors chem my 8th grade year at my high school.

I’ve seen kids around my area take Algebra 7th, Geometry 8th, then AP Calc AB 9th. It’s not common at all, but I wouldn’t say it’s impossible. Keep in mind these are the type of kids that are getting sky-high scores on their AMC/AIME.
