Rate my schedule?

Hi guys. So I’m going to be a Sophmore next year. Next year, our school is starting the AP capstone program, so I have to take that, which I was a bit dissapointed about, because now I have no room for Spanish 4 in my schedule. But what do you think of this as my sophmore schedule? People say I’m crazy for taking 4 AP’s as a sophmore, but at my school, if you’re in the advanced program, you HAVE to take AP world and AP Seminar. Also, I’m taking chemistry over the summer, so I don’t have many other options besides an ap science class (biology) I’m VERY good at biology (I have a 100% in honors for a 3 quarters so far, and a 100% on the midterm (although that had a 5 point curve)), and I want to be a biochemist, so I think I can handle AP bio. And I will probably take the bulk of AP computer over the summer. (I’m genuinely interested in the class) So what do you think of this schedule?

-AP World History
-Band
-Debate 2 Honors
-AP Seminar
-Pre-Cal Honors
-AP Biology
-English 2 Honors
-AP Computer Science (online)

Thanks so much!

That schedule seems rigorous for a sophomore, but colleges are going to evaluate you based on what classes your school offers and on the courses your classmates take. What matters most is whether your counselor checks off the “most demanding” box on your college applications.
I don’t know your school, but if people are awed that you are going to take 4 APs as a sophomore then I’d say you’re on the right track.

That looks like a very rigorous schedule for a sophomore. Like IAmNotCreativ said, if that is what other sophomores are doing and you are able to do that, do it. However, since you are taking those classes, it shows me you are probably aiming for a top university. So I would recommend trying to find a way to take Spanish 4, maybe online. But overall that looks great!

An issue is that you’re not taking a foreign language. Can you take the SAT Subject this Spring? (What matters is not so much number of years, but level reached).
