rate the ivy schools

Huh, yeah. Cornell is definitely the best in science and research.
One of my senior was admitted from Cornell as well as Brown, Yale, and Columbia SEAS. Now he is attending Cornell because he want to study engineering!!

Honestly you guys clearly are stuck up *******s who apply to colleges based on name recognition over anything else, in terms of undergrad...

Cornell

Dartmouth

Columbia

Harvard

Princeton

Yale

UPenn

Brown

thank god that godis said it like it should be, all of you who put cornell so low are to state it simple: bandwagon people, you are the people who liked the bulls with mike jordan and the bulls were winning, then when he left you liked kobe and shaq and the lakers, you also like clothes and songs when they are in-style then dismiss it when it is not in-style, bottomline you can't think for yourselves,

the original post said which ivy is best in terms of science/research/medicine

science:
Cornell/Princeton
Harvard/Columbia
the rest equal

Research:
Cornell
Princeton
the rest equal

Medicine:
Harvard
not sure of the rest

All of you who put Cornell down so low don't know what you are talking about IMO Cornell is about tied for the best in Science with Princeton, and THE BEST in Research (especially engineering), I am not sure about medicine, but I would put Cornell in the middle to upper range. I just don't know how so many people posting on CC about the ivy's can be so dumb. Try to start thinking for yourselves and jump off the bandwagon that Harvard is the best in the world, or the bandwagon that Cornell sucks, b/c you are wrong. My 2 cents.

My rank for research in sciences:

Harvard/Princeton
Columbia/Cornell
Yale/Upenn

Brown and Dartmouth are not listed for they are paying no attention to research.

Cornell is not a good med school? (or pre-med for that matter)

Cornell has the best bio major which means that it is really good for pre-med students.
