Hobo With A Shotgun - 10/10

If you watch it with your only expectations being violent bloody madness it will not fail to satisfy. Cheesy yet funny lines, over-the-top violence and decent acting make it an epic grindhouse-comedy film.

Easy A - 8.5/10

From Netflix: Just watched Limitless 7/10
Decent gimmick but story kind of dull.

Quick question before I answer, does it have to be a movie we hadn’t seen before or just the last movie we watched?

Planet of the Apes - 7.5/10

Okay movie. Started slow, picked up, got slow again, picked up. Not liking the roller coaster of starting slow and then picking up. But okay movie overall. I’ve seen better.

The Help - 9.5/10
I have a thing against rating things a perfect 10 (because you never know when an even better movie is going to come out, right?), but this movie came very close. Not a dull moment, a gripping storyline, and it definitely had its share of laugh out loud moments.

Rise of the … 9/10

It was the first good new movie I had seen in a really long time. I have no complaints. It had a good story line and kept pretty true to the others. Overall, very good cast and very well written.

You guys are extremely lenient with scores. You do realize that a 5/10 is average, right?

For me: HP7.2
Rating: 6/10

With a Friend Like Harry: 9.5/10

The movie was incredibly strange and had me laughing at the weirdest parts. It would have been perfect if it had been more consistent.

Harry Potter 7.2: 8/10. I loved it; there was some weird stuff, but overall, it was a good end to the series.

Drew, it can be a movie you’ve never seen or a movie you’ve seen countless times. Doesn’t matter!

I’m kinda cheating here but I’m the OP so it’s ok, gonna review the second to last movie I saw:

The Help - 9/10

Touching movie, good acting and a very interesting premise. Left a lot of the theater with tears in their eyes, not me though (not trying to sound tough or anything, I just don’t usually tear up in movies except for things like My Dog Skip).

Last movie I saw was Blue Valentine… I think you have to be old and bitter to enjoy it and married at least 5 years. I would give it a 7 out of 10. Acting deserves a 10 out of 10, but the relationship was just so painful to watch that it wasn’t really a fun movie. I still enjoyed it, but, my younger, unmarried sister just didn’t get it. Sadly enough, I give Tangled a solid 9 out of 10 for being fun to watch.

I’ll do both anyways
New Movie: Tron: Legacy 8/10
One I’ve watched a hundred times: Battle LA 9/10

Rise of the Planet of the Apes: 8.2/10

Enough. (with Jennifer Lopez) I watched it in health class, and it was actually pretty good. I’d give it an 8.5. :)

I just had a movie marathon with some friends last night, so I’ll just do all those movies.

Hard Candy: 5/10 (freaky movie… the guy working at Blockbuster suggested it.)
My Sister’s Keeper: 7/10
Seven Pounds: 8/10
The Reaping: 2/10

Transformers 1: 20/10 best movie ever in my opinion. <3

End of Evangelion: N/A/10.

If you’ve ever heard or seen Neon Genesis Evangelion, you will understand.

Haha everyone is a student in this thread. 7/10 is average, and if you go to Stanford or an Ivy League school 9/10 will be average . . .
